I'm applying next June. Thank you for any advice. 1. Grades 3.25 cGPA and 3.05 sGPA. GPA low mostly due to a string of failures 5 years ago. Upward trend, graduated, got healthy, set mind on medicine. Now in the 1st of 3 DIY post-bacc quarters at public university. Couldn't afford private/SMP. Course selection is limited. Plan is microbiology, microbial physiology, foundations + critical readings + seminar in biomedical sciences, intermediate statistics, regression modeling, biology... Research Authorship
Hi all, So obviously it's important for medical students to have their names on research publications before applying for residency, and even better if they can be first author on any of them. My question then is as such— I am currently managing a bunch of research projects with other medical students, independent of a lab. I am acting as the primary investigator, and most of my work is conception of the idea, statistics if needed, and collecting the results. I then guide students with less... Should I Do Content Review While Taking Prerequisites?
Hi Everyone and thank you for your help! I am currently taking my Physics I, Organic Chemistry I, and an introductory biology course for my post bac (I was able to take the Gen Chem series, a few statistic courses, and an upper level biology course during my undergrad as a psych major). I had previously taken two introductory biology courses during high school for dual credit and it has been some time since then and one of the courses was a nonscience biology course (which won't fulfill the... BEST Course decision for Freshman and Sophomores in university
Hello, I am an incoming college freshman majoring in biology. This year I plan to take Physics 1 and 2 with lab, Chemistry 1 and 2 with lab, calculus for my first semester, and statistics next semester. During my sophomore year, I plan to take Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 with lab, Genetics 1 and 2, and biochemistry. I have AP credits for biology and psychology. Is this the best course of action or should I be taking a class related to biology during freshman year? Or is this perfectly fine? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Is it ok to repeat classes at different universities?
I did very bad in calculus. I got a D. But I did very well in Statistics got a A. I got a A in physics 1 and 2.
