OptomCAS Application Q's for MCPHS
"Please explain any F's, D's, W's, or leaves of absences that appear on your transcript(s)." Hi, can anyone help me find out how to answer this? I want to ensure I use the correct wording: I only have a D from Organic Chem I & a W in Statistics just because I didn't understand. I later took it and passed the following semester. Any comment is much appreciated! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

should I retake a statistics class taken Pass/Fail
Hello everyone, I took an upper level statistics class for pass/fail, and passed the class, but i didn't learn anything. I'm pretty sure I passed by the skin of my teeth. I think it'd be good to have a good statistics foundation, so what do you think about retaking this at a community college so I can actually learn statistics? Also, I took a neuroscience class 4 years ago and got a B. Would it be bad to take the class again at a community college? I don't remember anything from this class... should I retake a statistics class taken Pass/Fail (Source: Student Doctor Network)

KCU-KC vs ATSU-SOMA vs TUNCOM
Okay fam, I've been fortunate enough to have a choice for schooling this cycle, so I would love some input from y'all. I'm deciding between KCU-KC, ATSU-SOMA, and TUNCOM. KCU-KC: Pros: - Loved the campus and the vibe from students - The statistics concerning boards and match placement speaks for itself - Awesome anatomy program and new SIM center - Super cool city Cons: - I don't have any connections to KC and my family is on the west coast, so I'm wanting to try and stay in KC... DO School and Residency Matching
Hi All, I was wandering if any of you have any information or statistics on specific DO schools that match the most students with residencies? I know @Goro had some information on this at one point but I could not find the thread. I believe @Goro also had a list of DO schools to NOT apply to due to the low matching rates. Also, does anyone know if DO's have a particularly hard time matching into MD residencies? Would they have to have stellar stats... DO School and Residency Matching (Source: Student Doctor Network)
