Has anyone been following the Feinstein fiasco? G.O.P. Vows to Block Feinstein Swap, Leaving Democrats in a Conundrum It's been widely known that's she's been demented for years now. She gets hospitalized for shingles over a month ago (!?!who gets hospitalized for shingles?!?) and is supposedly waiting for clearance from her doctors to be safe to travel? The democratic party is such an embarrassment. This is why we can't have nice things. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Zoster sine herpete
A previous patient came in with a new problem of severe right neck pain that wrapped around to the shoulder, about in a C4 distribution. Nothing on her C spine MRI to explain it, and her skin was hypersensitive to touch. Denied history of rash in the area but did have shingles several years ago on her face. Topicals weren’t helping and she got side effects with oral antineuropathics. She hadn’t had her shingles vaccine, so I told her to go ahead and get it, and that maybe it would help... PHN refractory to conventional treatment
I saw a new patient in the office yesterday. 70 y/0 M with 1.5 years of severe pain secondary to a shingles outbreak in the left T5/T6 dermatomes. He even asked to take off his shirt during the middle of the consultation secondary to pain. Prior to seeing me he has tried Hydrocodone, Gabapentin, Lyrica, Amitriptyline, Lidocaine ointment / patches, Calamine lotion and... 21 YO cf patient looking to move
I currently live in the greater kansas city area and see the KU CF team regularly. I am looking at the possibility of moving to Phoenix Arizona. I have a roommate lined up if I do but other than that I would be alone with the nearest family over 2 hours away. I have more than just my CF to contend with as well as typical CF problems with infections and viral and bacterial pneumonia within the past year. MY past PFT was only about 55% average. At the moment I am being tested for TB because of some symptoms I have been having including small portions of blood in my mucus from the lungs. Other problems i have include the rare...
