What does it really look like, to be a pediatrician?
I'm in a gap year right out of high school, volunteering on The Africa Mercy (A hospital ship in Senegal). I've gotten dozens of shadowing hours with everything from physicians to physical therapists to nurses, but I realize that it's definitely different then it would be at home, because we don't really distinguish between kids and adults. I LOVE children, and I want to go into medicine, so I figured a pediatrician would be a solid career? Could the pediatricians on this site please... med school choice for intenational medcial student
hi im curently in 11th grade and have to send my college aplication in a few month and i want to go to med school in a developed contry but what contry canada usa or autralia or uk new zeland ireland etc.... but can go into med school there as an internatinal student and if yes would i be able to practice there and work there maybe even live there help please sorry for the othographic mistake i have Dyslexia oh if that relevent im from senegal westa africa ang go to an anerican school (Source: New Media Medicine)

Update on my story
by CaribMD (Posted Sat Feb 23, 2013 6:25 pm)2/23/13 My story, Past and up to present.I graduated Nursing school in 1989 and Passed my Licensing test for RN the first time.I went on to work as a Trauma Nurse and ER and Cardiac nurse the next few years.I then wanted to work in Home Health and Home Infusion. Somehow ended up working in Home Hospice. Then after 9 years of Nursing I told my wife I wanted to go back to school and study to go to medical school. My answer was "No your not!!!!"
