Risk of hospital admission or emergency department presentation due to diabetes complications: a retrospective cohort study in Tasmania, Australia
ConclusionsOur results demonstrated the high demand on hospital services due to diabetes complications (especially macrovascular complications) and highlighted the importance of preventing and properly managing microvascular complications. Excess Stroke Deaths in Kidney Transplant Recipients: A Retrospective Population-based Cohort Study Using Data Linkage
Conclusions. Kidney transplant recipients had excess stroke deaths, particularly at younger ages and women. Preexisting cerebrovascular disease was a potentially modifiable risk factor for stroke death, suggesting further studies of secondary stroke prevention for kidney transplant recipients.

Conclusion Neurological involvement is a common complication of PSV (Table 1), and neurologists play an important role in the identification and diagnosis of PSV patients with otherwise unexplained neurological symptoms as their chief complaint.
