Neuroprotective Effect of Dexmedetomidine on Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Rats
CONCLUSION: Dexmedetomidine has a dose-dependent protective effect on cerebral ischemic injury in rats. The neuroprotective effects of dexmedetomidine are achieved, in part, by reducing the oxidative stress response, inhibiting glial overactivation, and inhibiting expression levels of apoptosis-related proteins.PMID:37235497

Fracture treatment in atrophic mandible
CONCLUSIONS: Treatment of fractures in atrophic mandibles with plates and screws is a reliable procedure. Luhr classification provide useful guidance regarding the use of bone grafts for best osteogenic response in the fracture.
