Endovascular repair combined with in situ fenestration for new ‐onset or residual arch dissection in patients underwent aortic replacement
ConclusionOur preliminary experience suggests that endovascular total arch repair combined with ISF technique is a viable, effective and safe option for treatment. Our mid-term results have been promising, but we acknowledge the need for further evaluation to assess long-term outcomes and durability.

Assessment of Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair Using Relay Proximal Scallop: Results of a French Prospective Multicentre Study
CONCLUSION: One year outcomes showed that the Relay proximal scallop stent graft is an acceptable answer to aortic thoracic disease to deal with short proximal landing zones.PMID:37567339 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejvs.2023.08.002

Carotid artery dissections from transcarotid artery revascularization as reported by the Food and Drug Administration
CONCLUSION: CD is the most common injury related to TCAR as reported on MAUDE. The most commonly reported procedural event associated with CD was sheath placement. The rate of intraoperative endovascular and open surgical CD repair was associated with whether the access to the true lumen of the carotid artery required additional access attempts or not. This should add qualitative insight among the vascular surgery community regarding intraoperative management of CDs from a TCAR procedure.PMID:37553285 | DOI:10.1177/17085381231194410

E-242 Successful mechanical thrombectomy through a frozen elephant aortic arch graft via radial approach
We report the first published case of a mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke via radial access in a patient with status post recent frozen elephant trunk graft (FET) for aortic arch repair. A 69 year-old male presented with a left middle cerebral artery large vessel occlusion two weeks after FET graft repair. After consultation with the patient’s cardiothoracic surgeon, a radial approach was deemed safest to access the left-sided large vessel occlusion. The FET procedure is a hybrid open and endovascular repair of aortic arch and descending aortic aneurysm and dissection repair. A vascular graft is used ...

Early and midterm outcomes of in situ fenestration via adjustable puncture needle for Ankura aortic stent graft: A single-center experience
CONCLUSION: Early and midterm outcomes demonstrated that ISF via the adjustable puncture needle device for the Ankura aorta stent graft is a feasible and effective treatment method, which can achieve high technical success and satisfactory short-term results.PMID:37496151 | DOI:10.1177/17085381231192376

Procedural and long-term outcomes of elective endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair in octogenarians
CONCLUSION: In octogenarian patients with AAA, EVAR represents a safe procedure both during the index hospitalization and during long-term follow-up.PMID:37355984 | DOI:10.24875/ACM.22000289

A Meta-Analysis on the Effect of Proximal Landing Zone Location on Stroke and Mortality in Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair
In this study, a systematic meta-analysis was performed to examine the impact of proximal landing zone location on stroke and 30-day mortality following TEVAR.

Outcomes of Complex Endovascular Treatment of Post-Dissection Aneurysms
CONCLUSION: Complex endovascular repair of chronic post-dissection aneurysms is feasible, but is associated with high rates of re-interventions and non-trivial rates of lack of technical success. More data are needed to evaluate the long term durability of these procedures, and the utility of centralising these complex procedures.PMID:37087065 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejvs.2023.04.013
