Surgical Myocardial Revascularization with a Composite T-graft from the Left Internal Mammary Artery-Comparison of the Great Saphenous Vein with the Radial Artery
CONCLUSION: CABG with a composite T-graft between LIMA and a segment of SV may be comparable to bypass surgery with a composite T-graft between LIMA and RA. This might be true in terms of morbidity and mortality over an intermediate-term observation period. The results of our studies give rise to the hypothesis that the decision not to perform aortic bypass anastomosis may be more important than the choice of graft material.PMID:37506730 | DOI:10.1055/s-0043-1771358

Acute stroke in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery in acute coronary syndrome: Predictors and outcomes
CONCLUSION: Based on our findings, acute stroke after bypass surgery in patients with ACS is associated with increased mortality and adverse outcomes. Cardiogenic shock, peripheral vascular disease and previous stroke were independent predictors of stroke after CABG procedure. Therefore, preoperative evaluation of potential risk factors may be crucial to improve postoperative results.PMID:37504576 | DOI:10.1177/02676591231193636

A meta-analysis evaluating efficacy and safety of colchicine for prevention of major cardiovascular events in patients with coronary artery disease
ConclusionsColchicine is an effective, relatively safe drug that could be considered for the treatment of CAD.
