Effects of Cerebellar Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation in Patients with Stroke: a Systematic Review
ConclusionsctDCS appears to improve poststroke language and motor dysfunction (particularly gait). However, the evidence for these results was insufficient, and the quality of the relevant studies was low. ctDCS stimulation parameters and individual factors of participants may affect the therapeutic effect of ctDCS. Researchers need to take a more regulated approach in the future to conduct studies with large sample sizes. Overall, ctDCS remains a promising stroke intervention technique that could be used in the future.

Exploring Training Effect in 42 Human Subjects Using a Non-invasive Sensorimotor Rhythm Based Online BCI
Conclusion In this study, we analyzed a pooled dataset consisting of 42 subjects’ three BCI training sessions. The behavioral performance results showed that there was a significant increase of BCI PVC accuracy (p = 0.004) and a marginal significant improvement of ITR (p = 0.05) in the third training session compared to the first session. No other significant difference of behavioral measures such as group average abort rate or feedback duration was found across the training sessions. Preliminary Evidence of Disparities in Physical Activity among Adolescents with Bipolar Disorder
Conclusions Frontal-executive dysfunction implicates frontal brain regions, which are known to be susceptible to oxidative damage. Further studies are needed, and those examining psychiatric populations may be especially fruitful. Focusing on youth may yield enhanced signal detection. Further study is needed to identify which antioxidant interventions work best for which cognitive functions and for which patients.

A study found that people with bipolar disorder are up to twice as likely as the general population to have metabolic syndrome, a cluster of symptoms that increase your risk of heart problems, stroke and diabetes. The study, published in the Journal of Affective Disorders, also found that "co-occurrence of metabolic syndrome in the bipolar population is associated with a more complex illness presentation, less favorable response to treatment, and adverse course and outcome." Conclusion The researchers conclude that although the pregnant women reported memory problems, these did not show up on their tests. However, this does not take into account their pre-pregnancy ability. The women may have performed better before they got pregnant, which is why they are now reporting memory problems. CNS Summit 2016 Abstracts of Poster Presentations
Conclusion: Subjects with acutely exacerbated schizophrenia who were eligible for discharge from the inpatient setting and who completed the study demonstrated high rates of adherence using the mobile AI application. Subjects were able to easily use the technology. Use of the platform did not appear to increase the dropout rate. This study demonstrates the feasibility of using AI platforms to ensure high adherence, provide reliable adherence data, and rapidly detect nonadherence in CNS trials. The neuroprotective effect of lithium chloride on cognitive impairment through glycogen synthase kinase-3 β inhibition in intracerebral hemorrhage rats.

Beta Amyloid Deposition Is Not Associated With Cognitive Impairment in Parkinson's Disease
In this study, we used a well-validated visual assessment to clinically rate scans as being amyloid positive or negative (38). As there is not an accepted threshold based on standardized centiloid reference regions, we defined an amyloid positivity centiloid cut-off threshold in our sample.
