All-cause mortality for cohabiting spouses of stroke survivors: Evidence from Swedish national registries.
CONCLUSION: Spouses of stroke survivors have higher mortality rates than a matched reference population that persist for a minimum of 5 years. Policy-makers should acknowledge and address the health status of spouses when evaluating and planning the health and social care of stroke survivors. Thrombolysis in Patients With Mild Stroke: Results From the Austrian Stroke Unit Registry Clinical Sciences
Conclusions— In our study, intravenous rt-PA treatment was beneficial for patients with mild deficit. Given the observational nature of these results, our data might serve as an incentive for future randomized controlled trials to provide a basis for optimal patient selection.

The role of prestroke glycemic control on severity and outcome of acute ischemic stroke.
