Assessment of rehabilitation following intracerebral hemorrhage in China: findings from the Chinese stroke center alliance
This study showed that the rate of rehabilitation assessment was 74.2%, which is low. Rehabilitation assessment was associated with longer hospital stays and lower mortality. Therefore, patients with acute cerebral haemorrhage should undergo comprehensive and professional rehabilitation assessment.PMID:36126147 | DOI:10.1080/01616412.2022.2123174

C-Reaction Protein and the Severity of Intracerebral Hemorrhage: A Study from Chinese Stroke Center Alliance
CONCLUSIONS: High CRP level was independently associated with poorer clinical outcome and higher in-hospital death in patients with ICH.PMID:34559025 | DOI:10.1080/01616412.2021.1980842

The relationship between the platelet to leukocyte ratio and mechanical thrombectomy outcomes in acute ischemic stroke patients.
CONCLUSION: Platelet to leukocyte ratio may be use to assess the risk of functional outcome and sICH in patients with acute anterior circulation occlusion stroke undergoing endovascular treatment in real world China. PMID: 32643590 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Low-dose rt-PA may not decrease the incidence of symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage in patients with high risk of symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage.
CONCLUSIONS: Our study suggests that low-dose intravenous rt-PA for high-risk sICH stroke in Chinese patients may not decrease the incidence of sICH, and concomitant with a poor outcome compared to standard-dose rt-PA. ABBREVIATIONS: rt-PA: recombinant tissue plasminogen activator; AIS: acute ischemic stroke; sICH: symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage. PMID: 30822264 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Predictors of mortality and recurrent stroke within five years of intracerebral hemorrhage.
Conclusion Predictors of recurrent stroke were older females, hypertension, diabetes, and brain stem hemorrhage. These findings may help to determine specific treatment strategies and improve quality of health care for such patients. PMID: 30134784 [PubMed - in process]
