Thrombolysis-Related Hemorrhage
Intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) improves outcomes when administered within 4.5 hours of symptom onset of ischemic stroke. Symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) is the most feared complication after administration of intravenous tPA.
