Single-antiplatelet regimen in ruptured cerebral blood blister and dissecting aneurysms treated with flow-diverter stent reconstruction
Conclusions Peri-interventional single-antiplatelet therapy with eptifibatide followed by prasugrel was sufficient to prevent thromboembolic events and reduce re-bleeding using an anti-thrombogenic FDS. FDS with single-antiplatelet therapy might be a viable option for ruptured blood blister and dissecting cerebral aneurysms.

P160/223 Acute stroke with treatment of tandem lesions under triple antiplatelet therapy: procedural saftey, stent patency and outcome at 90 days
ConclusionTL treatment under triple AP was safe in our experience, resulting in a low rate of restenosis and with favorable outcome in 92%. The influence of comorbidities on restenosis could be negligible within the described follow-up period.Disclosure of InterestPhilipp von Gottberg: Nothing to disclose.Ali Khanafer: Nothing to discloseVictoria Hellstern: Proctering for phenox GmbH.Alexandru Cimpocca: Nothing to disclose.Hans Henkes: Proctoring for phenox GmbH, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of CONTARA GmbH

P018/190 Unexpected bleeding complication during basilar artery rescue stenting - case report
ConclusionRescue stenting is an effective and efficient method for treating basilar artery occlusion resulting from significant stenosis, and bleeding complications can be managed intraoperatively without changing pharmacological antiplatelet therapy.Disclosure of InterestNothing to disclose.

Safety and efficacy of eptifibatide in acute ischemic stroke requiring extracranial carotid artery stenting
CONCLUSIONS: Eptifibatide may have a role in the management of acute stroke requiring carotid stenting. Caution may be required in those with established infarct on presentation imaging.PMID:37574792 | DOI:10.1177/15910199231193928

O-015 The safety and efficacy of cangrelor use in endovascular thrombectomy compared with glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors
ConclusionCangrelor use was associated with a decreased risk of hemorrhagic conversion and may lead to favorable functional outcomes for patients during hospitalization when compared to GPI use. Future prospective studies are warranted to investigate its use in EVT.Disclosures A. Devarajan: None. S. Gottiparthi: None. J. Zhang: None. D. Goldman: None. A. Schupper: None. C. Rossitto: None. J. E-033 Optimization of endovascular treatment for patients with acute carotid plaque rupture and free- floating thrombus by use of two overlapping closed-cell stents with different radial force
ConclusionUse of the Carotid Wallstent as the first stent to secure the free-floating thrombus allows save delivery of the Xact stent which then adds a second closed-cell mesh layer as well as the needed radial force to expand the stent construct. This approach may decrease if not eliminate the need for post-stent angioplasty in the acute setting thus decreasing risk of thromboembolic complication.Disclosures A. Kuhn: None. J. Singh: None. S. Treatment of progressive ischemic stroke with low ‑dose eptifibatide: A retrospective case‑control study
Exp Ther Med. 2022 Nov 22;25(1):22. doi: 10.3892/etm.2022.11721. eCollection 2023 Jan.ABSTRACTProgressive ischemic stroke (PIS) is a therapeutic challenge in clinical practice. The present retrospective study aimed to investigate the safety and effectiveness of eptifibatide in the treatment of PIS. The present study enrolled patients with PIS admitted to Xiangtan Central Hospital (Xiangtan, China) between March 2020 and March 2021 with National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) progression scores of ≥2 points during the initial 72 h. Patients were then divided into two groups according to their different anti-pla...

Eptifibatide use in ischemic stroke patients undergoing endovascular thrombectomy: A matched cohort analysis
ConclusionIn this single-center analysis, EPT use during EVT was associated with a significantly higher rate of PH1/PH2 grade hemorrhages, but not with differences in sICH, 24-h NIHSS, or 90-day mortality. Randomized prospective trials are needed to determine the safety and efficacy of EPT in this population.

E-055 Internal carotid artery reconstruction with flow diverting stents in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke: technical considerations and medical management
ConclusionsFDS appear to be a safe and effective tool for reconstruction of a symptomatic dissection in tortuous cervical ICAs. Their flexibility allows conformation to complex anatomies and they can be traversed multiple times by aspiration catheters/stentrievers. We found excellent patency at follow up. The unique challenges posed by utilization of high-profile stents in acute stroke require appropriate technical execution and medical management.Disclosures E. Orru: None. F. Bounni: None. M.
