E-033 Optimization of endovascular treatment for patients with acute carotid plaque rupture and free- floating thrombus by use of two overlapping closed-cell stents with different radial force
ConclusionUse of the Carotid Wallstent as the first stent to secure the free-floating thrombus allows save delivery of the Xact stent which then adds a second closed-cell mesh layer as well as the needed radial force to expand the stent construct. Endovascular treatment in patients with middle cerebral artery occlusion of different aetiologies
ConclusionsPatients with acute MCA M1 occlusion stroke due to different pathogeneses had comparable successful recanalization rates and functional independence at 90 days. The optimal management for MCAO patients with different aetiologies requires further research.

E-055 Internal carotid artery reconstruction with flow diverting stents in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke: technical considerations and medical management
ConclusionsFDS appear to be a safe and effective tool for reconstruction of a symptomatic dissection in tortuous cervical ICAs. Their flexibility allows conformation to complex anatomies and they can be traversed multiple times by aspiration catheters/stentrievers. We found excellent patency at follow up. ConclusionThe Pipeline embolization device is a novel technique that can be utilized for treatment of giant cerebrovascular aneurysms with emerging evidence of immediate and long-term success. O-052 The pennsylvania post-market multicenter experience with flow re-direction endoluminal device (FRED)
ConclusionThe results of the early post-market experience with the FRED device show reasonable safety and adequate aneurysmal occlusion rates comparable to other flow diverters. Cervical carotid occlusion in acute ischemic stroke: Should we give tPA?
CONCLUSION: Emergent revascularization with acute cICA stenting carries advantages, but its safety is precluded by tPA administration.
