Endovascular repair combined with in situ fenestration for new ‐onset or residual arch dissection in patients underwent aortic replacement
ConclusionOur preliminary experience suggests that endovascular total arch repair combined with ISF technique is a viable, effective and safe option for treatment. Our mid-term results have been promising, but we acknowledge the need for further evaluation to assess long-term outcomes and durability.

Perioperative Brain Injury in Children with Aortic Arch Anomalies: A Retrospective Study of Risk Factors and Outcomes
This study examines the incidence, risk factors, and outcomes of perioperative brain injury in children undergoing aortic arch repair who had aortic arch anomalies. A total of 145 children with aortic arch anomalies in our center undergoing aortic arch repair between January 2014 and December 2022 were enrolled. There were 129 (89.0%) with coarctation of the aorta (COA) and 16 (9.7%) with interrupted aortic arch (IAA). Associations of Tissue and Soluble LOX-1 with Human Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm
Conclusions In AAA, sLOX-1 was differently affected by age, cardiometabolic diseases, and corresponding medical therapies. Comparison with nonatherosclerotic disease would be beneficial to further elucidate the diagnostic potential of sLOX-1, although it was not useful for risk stratification. Aneurysmal LOX-1 mRNA expression was increased and positively associated with smooth muscle cells and collagen content, suggesting that LOX-1 is eventually not deleterious in human AAA and could counteract AAA rupture.PMID:37421287 | DOI:10.1161/JAHA.122.027537

CONCLUSION: The optimal timing of antiplatelet administration in relation to stent placement and route of administration of antiplatelet agents is unclear. Timing and route of administration of antiplatelet agents may have an effect on thrombosis in emergent neuroendovascular stenting.
