A comparative study of thoracoscopic left atrial appendage clipping versus stapled resection
CONCLUSIONS: The clipping group demonstrated a higher rate of complete LAA closure compared to the stapled resection group. Close monitoring of patients with residual LAA stumps is essential. Center-Level Variation in Failure to Rescue Following Pediatric Cardiac Surgery
CONCLUSIONS: In the present study, center-level variations in mortality were more strongly explained by differences in FTR than complications. CONCLUSIONS: SAVSTEB is a comparatively simple, safe and efficacious technique to create the anastomosis between tetrabranched arch grafts and the supra-aortic arteries in the short and intermediate term.
