CONCLUSION: The coagulopathy responsible for venous and arterial thrombosis is a well-established complication of COVID-19. Arterial thromboembolic complications can be either stroke, acute coronary syndrome or peripheral acute ischemia. Anticoagulants for people hospitalised with COVID-19
CONCLUSIONS: When compared to a lower-dose regimen, higher-dose anticoagulants result in little to no difference in all-cause mortality and increase minor bleeding in people hospitalised with COVID-19 up to 30 days. Higher-dose anticoagulants possibly reduce pulmonary embolism, slightly increase major bleeding, may result in little to no difference in hospitalisation time, and may result in little to no difference in deep vein thrombosis, stroke, major adverse limb events, myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, or thrombocytopenia. Neurological complications in pediatric patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection: a systematic review of the literature
ConclusionsOur research highlights the large range of neurological manifestations and their presumed pathogenic pathways associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection in children. Nervous system involvement could be isolated, developing during COVID-19 or after its recovery, or arise in the context of a MIS-C. The most reported neurological manifestations are cerebrovascular accidents, reversible splenial lesions, GBS, benign intracranial hypertension, meningoencephalitis; ADEM is also a possible complication, as we observed in our patient. Direct oral anticoagulants and therapeutic adherence: do not let your guard down
CONCLUSIONS: Polypharmacy, patient's isolation, such as a low education level were statistically associated with a low therapeutic adherence. Therapeutic adherence remains an unsolved problem for anticoagulated patient. Effect of anticoagulant therapy in COVID-19 patients
CONCLUSION: Analysis of the literature showed that there was insufficient evidence to answer our objective on the effect of anticoagulation on outcome in COVID-19 patients, especially due to the low scientific quality of the described studies.
