P151/175 Direct aspiration with EMBOVAC - first clinical experience and clot composition (results the "PERFECT study)
ConclusionThis is the first clinical evaluation of EMBOVAC. Direct aspiration with EMBOVAC as first line therapy resulted in high rates of reperfusion and favorable clinical outcomes. Anticoagulant Treatment Adherence and Persistence in German Patients with Atrial Fibrillation
ConclusionsPatients with AF receiving edoxaban had significantly higher adherence and persistence compared with those receiving VKAs. This trend was also seen in NOAC QD regimens vs. NOAC BID regimens for adherence. These results provide insight into how adherence and persistence may contribute to the effectiveness of edoxaban for stroke prevention in patients with AF in Germany.

The association between the body height and cardiovascular diseases: a retrospective analysis of 657,310 outpatients in Germany
ConclusionWe present the first data from a large cohort of outpatients in Germany providing strong evidence for an association between the body height and common CVD. These data should stimulate a discussion as to how far the body height should be implemented as a parameter in stratification tools to assess CVD risk in order to further reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in the future.

Managing uncertainty: Physicians' decision-making for stroke prevention for patients with atrial fibrillation and intracerebral haemorrhage
Conclusion Physicians described the process of deciding on stroke prevention in patients with AF post-ICH as 'challenging' due to considerable 'clinical equipoise'. Key factors that affected decision-making was patient comorbidities, functional status, and patient willingness to engage with oral anticoagulation therapy.
