Effect of Concomitant Cardiac Arrest on Outcomes in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome-Related Cardiogenic Shock
Patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS)-related cardiogenic shock (CS) with or without concomitant CA may have disparate prognoses. We compared clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients with CS secondary to ACS with and without cardiac arrest (CA). Between 2014 and 2020, 1,573 patients with ACS-related CS with or without CA who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention enrolled in a multicenter Australian registry were analyzed. Primary outcome was 30-day major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) (composite of mortality, myocardial infarction, stent thrombosis, target vessel revascularization and stroke).

E-103 Transradial carotid stenting using a 6 french simmons-2 guide catheter in comparison to transfemoral approach: a single center experience
ConclusionsTransradial carotid stenting using lower profile technique appears to be a safe, effective, and faster option for carotid revascularization compared to traditional transfemoral approach although conversion rate may be high which can be mitigated through proper case selection.Disclosures M. C-reactive protein and D-dimer in cerebral vein thrombosis: Relation to clinical and imaging characteristics as well as outcomes in a French cohort study

A Novel Anti-Thrombotic, Glenzocimab, in Covid-19 acute respiratory distress syndrome (Cov-ARDS).
Conclusion: The GARDEN study was set up to tackle a global Public Health emergency. Glenzocimab was safe in doses three times higher than used in stroke. Albeit efficacy was not shown, overall, GARDEN provides insights into Cov-ARDS.

Apixaban versus other anticoagulants in patients with nonvalvular fibrillation: a comparison of all-cause and event-related costs in real-life setting in France
ConclusionsHCRU and most event-related costs were lower in patients initiating apixaban compared to other OACs. Apixaban may be cost-saving compared to VKAs, and significantly cheaper than other DOACs, although cost differences are limited.

E-114 Rescue suction mechanical thrombectomy of medium-small vessel occlusion in a pediatric patient presented with acute ischemic stroke
ConclusionEndovascular aspiration mechanical thrombectomy of MSVO is feasible in pediatric patients presenting with AIS and associated with good functional outcome. Additionally, when acute ongoing neurological deficit is present and CTA is inconclusive, a digital subtraction angiography is deemed needed to identify MSVO as the yields of CTA diminishes significantly beyond LVO. ConclusionFlow diverters appear to be a safe and effective treatment for anterior communicating artery aneurysms, presenting as an alternative strategy in the armamentarium of interventionalist. Managing uncertainty: Physicians' decision-making for stroke prevention for patients with atrial fibrillation and intracerebral haemorrhage
Conclusion Physicians described the process of deciding on stroke prevention in patients with AF post-ICH as 'challenging' due to considerable 'clinical equipoise'. Key factors that affected decision-making was patient comorbidities, functional status, and patient willingness to engage with oral anticoagulation therapy.
