Thrombotic events following Covid-19 vaccines compared to Influenza vaccines
CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE: This study shows a significant increase in thrombotic events in subjects vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccines in comparison to a control group. The clinical implication of these findings should be interpreted with caution, in light of the high effectiveness of vaccination and the inherent risk of thrombosis from Covid-19 infection itself.PMID:35288031 | DOI:10.1016/j.ejim.2022.03.002

Cerebral venous thrombosis in Argentina: clinical presentation, predisposing factors, outcomes and   literature review
Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is an uncommon medical condition that primarily affects young individuals.  Previous studies suggest an annual incidence rate of 1-12/1,000,000 cases, representing 0.5% to 3% of all stroke.1-4 CVT is more common in childbearing women, usually associated with a transient prothrombotic state (e.g. pregnancy, puerperium, exposure to oral contraceptives).5

Identifying Barriers in Acute Stroke Therapy in Argentina. ARENAS Registry (P2.014)
CONCLUSIONS: Only 47% of patients were admitted to an Intensive Care Unit, rt-PA was underused and initial evaluation was not performed by a neurologist in most of cases. Perception Of Stroke Symptoms And Utilization Of Emergency Medical Systems In Argentina (P7.132)
CONCLUSIONS:These results suggest a low level of stroke symptoms awareness in our country even in a population of middle/high socioeconomic level.
