BOP1 Promotes Prostate Cancer through the DUSP6/MAPK Pathway
CONCLUSIONS: This finding demonstrated that BOP1 promoted CaP progression by regulating the DUSP6/MAPK pathway.PMID:37681336 | DOI:10.56434/j.arch.esp.urol.20237606.54

A novel SNP in HUWE1 promoter confers increased risk of NOA by affecting the RA/RAR α pathway in Chinese individuals
ConclusionsAnHUWE1 promoter SNP significantly downregulates its expression in NOA patients. Mechanistically, HUWE1 regulates germ cell differentiation during meiotic prophase through its participation in RA/RAR α signaling and subsequent modulation of γH2AX. Taken together, these results strongly suggest that the genetic polymorphisms ofHUWE1 are closely related to spermatogenesis and NOA pathogenesis. This article is protected by copyright. The MAEL expression in mitochondria of human spermatozoa and the association with asthenozoospermia
Conclusions: We highlight prominent MAEL expression in the intra-testicular spermatid and the mitochondria of ejaculated spermatozoa. MAEL directly binds toGPX4 andUBL4B, and loss of MAEL induces mitochondrial dysfunction. MAEL-mitochondrial function-motility relationship might advance our understanding of the causes of asthenozoospermia. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved

Petits ARN interf érents : applications potentielles pour les néphrologues Small interfering RNA: potential applications for nephrologists
Nephrol Ther. 2022 Dec;18(6S1):6S1-6S6. doi: 10.1016/S1769-7255(22)00646-0.ABSTRACTSmall interfering RNA (siRNAs) are double-stranded RNAs of around 20 base pairs in length that trigger RNAi machinery, which promotes degradation of a target mRNA avoiding protein translation. SiRNAs are liver-targeted, using tris N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) as the targeting ligand. This discovery received the Nobel Prize for medicine and physiology in 2006 and lead to substantial therapeutic advances. Application field and development of these siRNA has been very fast. Indeed, patisiran has been released in 2018 for hereditary transthyre...
