The use and availability of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in fertility treatment has become more widespread in recent years, although additional research is needed to determine its effectiveness. Examples of CAM therapies include acupuncture, yoga, herbal supplementation, and homeopathy. Fertility clinic websites are an important resource used by patients to obtain information for the types of services available to them. Patient accessibility to online information is an essential part of recognizing health disparities in regards to accessing fertility services.

Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in women with endometriosis
CONCLUSIONS: In our study population, women with endometriosis are strongly interested in using CAM, but have only limited information about it. Providing Quality Abortion Care: Findings from a Study of Six States in India
ConclusionTo provide comprehensive quality abortion care, India needs to expand the provider base by including doctors from the Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy streams as also nurses and auxiliary midwives after providing them necessary skills. Medical and nursing colleges and training institutions should expand their curriculum by offering an in-service short-term training on vacuum aspiration (VA) and medical methods of abortion.

The use of home remedies and complementary health approaches in endometriosis
ConclusionAs conventional therapies may not be sufficiently effective, women's needs should be closely examined, and individual treatment options should be discussed and initiated by clinicians to provide the best comprehensive treatment possible for endometriosis.
