Accuracy of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Clinical Endodontic Applications: A  Systematic Review
The development of dedicated coils and new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences has led to an increase in image resolution and a reduction in artifacts. Consequently, numerous studies have demonstrated the utility of MRI as a nonionizing alternative to cone-beam computed tomographic imaging. The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the accuracy of MRI in clinical applications in endodontics. (Source: Journal of Endodontics)

Two-Dimensional Radiographs and Cone-beam Computed Tomography Assessment of Concentrated Growth Factor and Platelet-Rich Fibrin Scaffolds in Regenerative Endodontic Treatment of Immature Incisors with Periapical Radiolucency: A  Randomized Clinical Trial
The primary aim of this study was to compare the radiographic changes of immature incisors with periapical radiolucency after treatment with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and concentrated growth factor (CGF) platelet concentrate scaffolds as well as assessment of the clinical success rate over 12  months. The secondary aim was to monitor the radiographic changes in terms of reduction of periapical lesion diameter (PALD), root dentine thickness (RDT), root length (RL), and apical foramen width (AFW). Worldwide Anatomic Characteristics of the Mandibular Canine —A Multicenter Cross-Sectional Study with Meta-Analysis
This study aimed to examine the global prevalence of root and root canal morphologies in mandibular canines and analyze potential influences of region, ethnicity, sex, and age on the proportion of a second root and root canal configuration. (Source: Journal of Endodontics)

Robot-Assisted and Haptic-Guided Endodontic Surgery: A Case Report
The objective of this case report was to assess the initial use of the Yomi Robot's assistance and haptic guidance during endodontic microsurgery. The robot was used during the osteotomy and root-end resection of the first and second upper left premolars. The report aims to inform clinicians of the initial implementation of this cutting-edge technology in endodontics and its potential to enhance endodontic microsurgery. High-Fat Diet Influences Dendritic Cells and T-Cell Infiltration in Apical Periodontitis in Mice
Diet-induced metabolic syndrome may influence the progression and healing of apical periodontitis (AP). The aim of this study was to evaluate the inflammatory immune response of dendritic cells (DCs) and T helper (Th) cells in normal versus obese mice with AP. (Source: Journal of Endodontics)

Outcome of Contemporary Nonsurgical Endodontic Retreatment: A Systematic Review of Randomized Controlled Trials and Cohort Studies
The success rates of NS-ReTx have varied across decades of prior research. Nonetheless, recent endodontic advances have substantially enhanced case management. This systematic review aimed to identify rigorous studies on contemporary NS-ReTx, investigating both periapical healing —evaluated strictly for complete resolution or loosely for size reduction of periapical radiolucency—and success, denoting clinical normalcy combined with periapical healing. 7.5- to 11.5-Year Follow-up of the Fracture Removal Treatment for Propagated Crown Fractures
A definitive method to predictably treat propagated longitudinal fractures remains elusive. A proof-of-concept case report series documenting nonsurgical removal of propagated longitudinal fractures has shown up to 5 years of clinical and radiographic success. This installment of the case report series further documents these teeth with 7.5-year to 11.5-year recall evaluations. Three previously reported cases of fracture removal were followed at 11.5  years (1 case), 9.75 years (1 case), and 7.5 years (1 case) after treatment to determine the long-term clinical and radiographic success of nonsurgical fracture removal.
