how many RVUs do 100% IR jobs (esp in academia) hit per year?
just wondering if anyone can shed some insight? It seems like at my academic institution, it’s extremely difficult to hit that 8000-10000 RVU mark purely doing IR.

What are my chance for prestigious radiology programs?
US MD student wondering if I should be sending 8/12 of my signals to BWH, mass gen, yale, penn, cornell etc... or if it would be a waste.

4th year med student at unranked but respected school in the NE. We do match to ivy schools every year but not necessarily in rads. I decided on rads in second year but was originally going for a surg subspeciality so kept up some of my research in those so I have some non rads publications and activities.

Combined Breast fellowships for private practice?
Deciding on applying to breast fellowship and likely going into private practice afterwards. Would it be better to do a combined breast + body 1 year fellowship or do a 1 year breast only fellowship at maybe a better "name" institution with maybe a body "mini-fellowship" during R4 year? Can a DO match Diagnostic Radiology without research?
Hi all,
OMS3 here. Came in wanting to do Radiology but at this point haven't done anything notable. No red flags, but no research or other ECs. I really hate the research/twitter/networking game. I spent 6-7 months on a research project and it went nowhere. I'm an older student with a family and have no will or desire to do those things. Recommend dual-applying?
Hi all, I am an M4 applying ophtho trying to decide whether it's worth the effort to dual apply. My advisors have told me it's not necessary but the horror stories you hear of people not matching with 15 interviews scares me. I could dual apply to radiology without too much difficulty but I am concerned if having to interview for both specialties will lead to burnout and cause me to perform worse on interviews for both.

Ultrasound certificate
Hey everyone! I'm an ER vet that is getting burnt out pretty quickly. I was curious if anyone had suggestions for abdominal ultrasound certifications? I'm not talking 1-2 days of CE, but an actual program to become very efficient.
