Combined breast-abdominal imaging fellowships
Hello,
I am a non-US citizen in a Radiology residency interested in combined breast-abdominal fellowship programs. I came across a few promising combined programs but want to know about other people's experience. I know a lot of this will be program-specific but it would help to get a general sense of things.
Are some combined programs better than others in terms of getting enough exposure to breast procedures and imaging? Are there any combined programs to avoid?

Competitiveness for DR
Hi everyone,
Fourth year medical student at a low tier MD applying to DR this cycle. My question is regarding how competitive I am for DR and if it may be smart to dual apply to something else.
Stats: Step 1 - P, Step 2- 253
Half Honors and Half Pass during third year
Ranked in the second quartile at my med school (not AOA)
1 published Radiology Case Report, 2 accepted ACR case reports, 1 submitted long term manuscript, 8 poster presentations

IM chair letter as one of three letters of recommendation for residency?
Unfortunately, It is looking very likely that I'm being ghosted by one of my letter writers. Right now I have 2 radiology and 1 IM chair letter that my school required anyone doing IM or prelim/TY's obtain. If my third individual letter writer does not write one for me in time, is it reasonable to submit 2 radiology and the IM chair letter to radiology programs or is that a death sentence because they don't count it as fulfilling the requirement? Did I just ruin everything with step 2?
Just got my score Step 2 score back and I am shocked, saddened, confused, and to be honest feel like I just ruined everything I have ever worked for in my life in one day.
I got a 223. My practice scores were in the 240s. I am at a loss for words.
I was planning on applying diagnostic radiology and have an away scheduled.
Most A’s with a couple B’s preclinical. Passed Step 1 easily. Like 10-12 publications. Honored 3/6 rotations. Never any issues with shelves.

Teleradiology moonlighting without programs approval
I am a fellow in a non-ACGME program. I am currently final signing my reports during my internal moonlighting shifts. If I were to do external moonlighting without program approval, how much trouble will I get into? Does it matter if it is for a group in a different state. Would my medical license list every place I've worked at?

avoid private equity?
I always saw people talking about avoid private equity on the forum, like you work more for less in PE. But salary wise, they are pretty good, starting salary even close to partnership salary in private practice. I’m a current DR resident in my last year. Will be doing a 1 year neuro fellowship. Wife and I are thinking of places we want to end up after training, and Tennessee (specifically Knoxville) is up there on the list.

Pediatric Radiology Fellowship
Current resident planning on applying to peds rads. What would make my application/CV competitive for top fellowships, such as Boston Children's Hospital?
Is it the same ol' thing when applying to residency programs (research, leadership experiences)? How important is anesthesiology-specific research for a residency application?
Hi all,
I am an M1 with a prior master's degree.
I'm strongly leaning towards anesthesiology as a specialty.
I've been doing research for the last couple months with a professor (PHD) in the radiology / neurology department.

Letters of recommendations for residency

how many RVUs do 100% IR jobs (esp in academia) hit per year?
