In this study, the effects of common household cooking methods (boiling, steaming, microwaving, stir-frying) on bioactive metabolites, carotenoids, antioxidant activity, antinutrients and inhibitory effects on α-glucosidase and α-amylase activities were examined. CONCLUSIONS: INT induced type I IFN mRNA and proteins in BMDMs and other cell types. This induction was mediated by TLR4, which transduces signals using the TRIF/MyD88 pathway.
