WAMC for Post Bacc? Non-Traditional
I'm in a bit of a special situation here. A compound of many things
Went to college for Economics, GPA 3.4. Figured out I want to become a vet a couple months before graduation. Applied to Tufts' post bacc program and got rejected. Now 26, working in corporate America, and rethinking my career.
Took 1 semester of chemistry and 1 semester of physics while working. No science class from college. Now considering pursuing school full time to get my pre reqs faster.
Experience:
200 hrs...

School List Feedback 3.6/522 PA Applicant URM
Hello! I am looking for some advice on my school list, especially in terms of schools that might be worth taking off the list. I will be applying for the 2024/2025 cycle. Additionally, I graduated from undergrad in 2021 (BS Psychology) and did some of my course work at community college (Orgo I & II, Bio II) and at UPenn as a visiting student (Physics I and II, Biochem).
cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS : cGPA = 3.63, sGPA = 3.58 (including post-bac work)

Reinvention and Class Schedule Help
Hi Everyone, I hope that the weather and life is treating you well wherever you are. My class registration day is coming up and I am trying to figure out what to take next. For this semester i took Organic chemistry I, Introductory Bio I, and College Physics I. Currently I know I will be scheduling myself for Organic Chemistry II and College Physics II. I took the intro to Biology course because one of my dual credit biology courses will not contribute to my TMDSAS GPA because it was a...

Laboratory Courses Concerns
Hi!
I go to a school where Biology Laboratory 1 and 2 alongside Physics Laboratory 1 and 2 are only offered as a pass/fail courses. Additionally, they only offer one semester of General Chemistry Laboratory. I'm a Texas resident so I'm looking to apply to schools in the TMDSAS, will this make me look bad? This has not proven to be an issue for other pre-meds, as the Gel Chem laboratory is designed alongside both semesters of the Orgo lab to fill the Pre-Med laboratory requirements but I'm...

College course schedule?
So I’m a senior in highschool and I’ll be graduating this year with my associates degree from a university. I will have all of my generals done.
I’m curious on your opinions. For college, I was planning on doing the following for my science and re reqs:
1st year: gen chem and physics
2cd year: O-chem
3rd year: biology 2020 (I already did 1610&1612) and then biochemistry
4th year: MAP
I’m hoping to be done with my prerequisites by third year. Is this too ambitious? Any recommendations of...

Retake Lecture and Lab?
I'm starting a post bac next semester and I'm not sure if I should retake both lecture and lab for chem and physics. I previously got a C in chem lecture and a D in chem lab and a D in physics lecture and C in physics lab. Should I only retake chem lab and physics lecture where I got lower than a C, or retake both lectures and labs since I'll have to retake one for each anyway?
Thank you for any advice (Source: Student Doctor Network)
