Which Post-Bacc should I choose?
First post! Woot! I've thought about paying for a session with a med school admissions coach/counselor to get some advice, but SDN has helped me tremendously so far, so I thought I would give it a shot by asking on here. I graduate in May and the only pre-reqs I need to finish are Physics 2 and Org Chem 2. Right now I am considering finishing the pre-reqs by completing a post-bacc. I have been accepted into 2 post-bacc programs. School A is a large well-known med school. School B is a... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Wamc -- 3.62 gpa -- 514 mcat
Hey everyone. I am on my first year of a two year post-bacc research fellowship at the NIH and looking to apply to MD schools this upcoming cycle. I understand my GPA is not stellar but am hoping my MCAT can somewhat compensate as well as my ECs. Also could potentially retake the MCAT to get my Bio/Biochem score up from a 127. cGPA and sGPA: 3.63 & 3.49 (C in physics II dragged sGPA down) MCAT 514: 128/130/127/129 Residency: Virginia (also qualify for... Should I stay enrolled/add a minor for instead of graduating?
Currently, I'm a sophomore who can graduate this spring thanks to dual enrollment prereqs taken at my state school (that I currently attend). But the conundrum is, in high school when I took most of my science courses such as ochem, gen chem, biology, physics, I luckily ended with a 4.0. However, my first semesters in college taking the more focused major courses haven't been so great comparatively speaking (freshman year: 3.6 sophomore year: 3.7). Even though my cumulative gpa is still... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Physics hybrid (in person lab, online lecture) or physics all online (lab and lecture)?
I am trying to finish up a physics course. The course is offered at a well-kniwn 4-year university as part of a semi-formal DIY postbacc; has online lectures but one section has in-person lab and the other section has lab at home. Same professor for both lectures and labs. Tests appear to be proctored through ProctorU but not sure; I have taken ProctorU-proctured courses there. These are the only physics courses offered in their post bacc program. The physics department claims the courses... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Question regarding Post-bacc and GPA
So I messed up in 5 classes during my undergrad. I earned a C- in Physics 2. D in Gen Chem 2. C in Bio 2. I failed Biochem and Anatomy due to family emergency. I plan to retake these courses. I plan to take a more thorough anatomy and physiology course that is two separate courses. A&P 1 A&P 2. I plan to take an additional course which I haven't before (Microbiology). I'm confident that I will ace these courses since I have already seen the course material before and that I have studied... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
