A multi-centre randomized controlled trial comparing connective tissue graft with collagen matrix to increase soft tissue thickness at the buccal aspect of single implants: 3-Year results
CONCLUSIONS: CTG was more effective in increasing buccal soft tissue profile and resulted in less marginal bone loss than CMX. Therefore, CTG remains the gold standard to increase soft tissue thickness at implant sites.CLINICAL TRIAL REGISTRATION: This study was registered in ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT04210596).PMID:38485651 | DOI:10.1111/jcpe.13975 (Source: Journal of Clinical Periodontology)

Monitoring student skills during community pharmacy placements: retrospective analysis of dashboards
CONCLUSIONS: Our work shows the contribution of the professional practice placement dashboard in monitoring student progress. The analysis carried out reveals different levels of mastery at the start of the placement and different levels of progress depending on the skills. It also reveals the contribution made by the intervention on the content of the placement, particularly in terms of the acquisition of certain skills, especially those related to new tasks such as conducting pharmaceutical interviews.PMID:38485087 | DOI:10.1016/j.pharma.2024.03.002 (Source: Annales Pharmaceutiques Francaises)

Novel HPTLC method for simultaneous estimation from ternary mixture of chlorpheniramine maleate, dextromethorphan hydrobromide and phenylephrine hydrochloride in syrup formulations
CONCLUSION: The proposed method was complying for the analytical method validation parameters suggested by the ICH Q2 (R1) guideline. The method was found to be simple, rapid and reliable for the simultaneous estimation of CPM, DEXO and PE from its pharmaceutical syrup dosage form. The method was successfully applied to quantify these analytes from the several pharmaceutical syrup dosage form.PMID:38485086 | DOI:10.1016/j.pharma.2024.03.001 (Source: Annales Pharmaceutiques Francaises)

How healthy is the health budget of < em > Amrit Kaal < /em > : 2023-24?
J Family Med Prim Care. 2024 Jan;13(1):5-9. doi: 10.4103/jfmpc.jfmpc_398_23. Epub 2024 Feb 8.ABSTRACTPolitical will is the key to public health policy-making and a major driving force for the attainment of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in any nation. To achieve UHC, the Indian government laid down National Health Policy in 1983 and updated it in 2002 and recently in 2017. This recent policy emphasized increasing healthcare spending and economic growth. In the current budget, there is an increment in the share of GDP of 0.34% from the previous year's allocation, but still staggering for the envisaged 2.5% to achieve UHC. ...

Augmenting DMTA using predictive AI modelling at AstraZeneca
Drug Discov Today. 2024 Mar 7:103945. doi: 10.1016/j.drudis.2024.103945. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTDesign-Make-Test-Analyse (DMTA) is the discovery cycle through which molecules are designed, synthesised, and assayed to produce data that in turn are analysed to inform the next iteration. The process is repeated until viable drug candidates are identified, often requiring many cycles before reaching a sweet spot. The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing presents an opportunity to innovate drug discovery to reduce the number of cycles needed to yield a candidate. Here, we present the Predictive Insi...
