A Retrospective Study Analyzing Opioid Prescription Practices in Hand Surgery from 2013 to 2019
CONCLUSIONS: The increase in total opioid prescriptions from 2013 to 2019 by hand surgeons in the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program lags behind the recommended shift to nonopioid pain management.
