Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States and the seventh world-wide. This seminar will discuss results from genome-wide association studies (GWAS), conducted within the NCI-led Pancreatic Cancer Cohort Consortium. Dr. Hussain received his post-doctoral training at the Swiss Institute for Cancer Research (ISREC), Lausanne, Switzerland, and the Laboratory of Human Carcinogenesis, CCR and then worked as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore.
