Paget ’s Disease of the Breast and Our Clinical Experience at Ain Shams University Hospitals
ConclusionPatients having pagetoid cells by biopsy and a mass radiologically which is invasive or insitu with microinvasion will undergo modified radical mastectomy and may be followed by radiotherapy. But if pagetoid cells and mass radiologically which is in situ simple mastectomy will be done. (Source: QJM)

Clinicopathological features of mammary Paget's Disease: A single center experience in Turkey
Conclusions: The current study displayed the tumor type as the only parameter affecting overall survival in the invasive carcinoma group. Although it was not statistically significant, breast cancers accompanied by PD were found to be predominantly advanced stage tumors, high grade, hormon receptor negative and HER2 positive. Key words: Paget?s disease, breast carcinoma, pathology, molecular subtype, immunohistochemistry.PMID:34493033 | DOI:10.3906/sag-2103-148 (Source: Turkish Journal of Medical Sciences)

Improving preparedness prior to reconstructive breast surgery via inclusion of 3D images during pre-operative counselling: a qualitative analysis

Successful treatment of a case of hormone receptor –positive metastatic extramammary Paget disease with tamoxifen
SummaryExtramammary Paget disease (EMPD) is a rare cutaneous adenocarcinoma that usually is of epidermal origin and shows glandular differentiation and that is treated by wide local excision depending on the disease extent. For widely metastatic disease, however, a standard treatment remains to be established. Similar to breast cancer, EMPD has been found to overexpress human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) or hormone receptors (HRs). Whereas HER2-directed therapy was recently shown to be effective for HER2-positive EMPD, the potential role of endocrine therapy for HR-positive EMPD has remained unknown. We here r...

Pathological Complete Response following Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with Mammary Paget ’s Disease: A Case Report
Mammary Paget ’s disease is a rare malignancy. Mastectomy or breast-conserving surgery has been considered as the standard treatment, while there have been few reports of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). A 53-year-old woman with erythema and skin ulceration of the left breast was admitted to our institution. Bre ast examinations revealed left invasive ductal carcinoma (cT1bN0M0, cStage I), and a punch biopsy of the left mammary erythema indicated Paget’s disease (cTisN0M0, cStage0). The patient received NAC because of multiple lesions. Consequently, the breast tumor clinically disappeared, and the erythem a improved. Th...

28581 Vulvar mammary-like adenocarcinoma with overlying extramammary Paget disease
Observations: An 88-year old Asian female with a history of thyroid cancer presented with an itchy 5 cm erythematous inflammatory plaque on the right labia majora extending to the clitoris and left labia majora. Biopsy revealed mammary-like adenocarcinoma beneath extramammary paget disease of the vulva. Breast mammograms revealed no malignancy. The invasive dermal tumor resembled invasive ductal adenocarcinoma of the breast, being positive for cytokeratin 7 and negative for cytokeratin 20. Malignant pagetoid cells were in the epidermis.
