Need for Routine Screening Prior to Female-to-Male Gender-Affirming Chest Surgery
We present a patient with Paget's disease of the breast (PDB) discovered after female-to-male gender-affirming chest surgery (FTM GACS) without pre-operative imaging. This case highlights the importance of routine breast surveillance prior to FTM GACS.PMID:35392681 | DOI:10.1177/00031348221086978 (Source: The American Surgeon)

Invasive Pleomorphic Lobular Carcinoma of The Male Breast: A Rare Diagnosis with Radiologic-Pathologic Correlation
We report a case of an invasive pleomorphic lobular carcinoma with axillary lymph node involvement and associated Paget's disease in a high-risk man. Low awareness among men and a lack of a screening program often lead to a late diagnosis of male breast cancer, and consequently, at a later stages of disease, with lower survival rates compared to women. Early diagnosis is essential in order to improve patient outcomes and achieve better survival rates in men.PMID:35254968 | DOI:10.20344/amp.17206 (Source: Acta Medica Portuguesa)

Pleomorphic Appearance of Breast Cancer Cutaneous Metastases
Cureus. 2021 Dec 9;13(12):e20301. doi: 10.7759/cureus.20301. eCollection 2021 Dec.ABSTRACTCutaneous metastases occur in approximately 10% of oncology patients as a feature of a persistent solid tumor or the harbinger of recurrent neoplastic disease. However, they can be the presenting manifestation of an unsuspected visceral malignancy in one percent of previously cancer-free individuals. Metastatic skin lesions from breast carcinoma are diverse in their appearance. The clinical presentation of cutaneous metastases in three women with breast cancer is described and both the morphology of skin metastases caused by breast ca...
