A Systematic Review of Operative Team Familiarity on Metrics of Efficiency, Patient Outcomes, Cost, and Team Satisfaction
Conclusions: Improving OR team familiarity is associated with superior operative efficiency and may be associated with other favorable measures. Further inferences are limited by literature heterogeneity, yet could be a novel focus for improving OR performance. (Source: Annals of Surgery)

Induction of labour for predicted macrosomia: study protocol for the 'Big Baby randomised controlled trial
Introduction Large-for-gestational age (LGA) fetuses have an increased risk of shoulder dystocia. This can lead to adverse neonatal outcomes and death. Early induction of labour in women with a fetus suspected to be macrosomic may mitigate the risk of shoulder dystocia. The Big Baby Trial aims to find if induction of labour at 38+0–38+4 weeks’ gestation, in pregnancies with suspected LGA fetuses, reduces the incidence of shoulder dystocia. Methods and analysis The Big Baby Trial is a multicentre, prospective, individually randomised controlled trial of induction of labour at 38+0 to 38+4 weeks’ gestation...

Demographic, behavioural and occupational risk factors associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection in UK healthcare workers: a retrospective observational study
Conclusions The emergence of SARS-CoV-2 variants and potential vaccine escape continue to threaten stability of healthcare systems worldwide, and sustained vigilance against HCW infection remains a priority. Enhanced risk assessments should be considered for HCWs of black ethnicity, physiotherapists and those working in acute medicine or medical subspecialties. Workplace risk reduction measures include ongoing access to high-quality PPE and effective social distancing measures. (Source: BMJ Open)

Economic evaluations of fall prevention exercise programs: a systematic review
CONCLUSIONS: Most economic evaluations investigated fall prevention exercise programmes for older adults living in the community. There is moderate certainty evidence that fall prevention exercise programmes are likely to be cost-effective. The evidence for older adults living in care facilities is more limited but promising.PROSPERO REGISTRATION NUMBER: PROSPERO 2020 CRD42020178023.PMID:36302631 | DOI:10.1136/bjsports-2022-105747 (Source: British Journal of Sports Medicine)
