Cuminum cyminum Ameliorates Urotoxic Effects of Cyclophosphamide by Modulating Antioxidant, Inflammatory Cytokines, and Urinary Bladder Overactivity: In vivo and In Silioc investigations
This study aimed to investigate the effect of aqueous ethanol extract of Cuminum cyminum (AEECC) on oxidative stress, inflammation and overactivity of the urinary bladder induced by cyclophosphamide (CYP). The enhanced nociception behavior, bladder weight, vascular permeability, edema, hemorrhage, nitric oxide, IL-6 and TNF-α levels by CYP administration were significantly reduced by AEECC (250 and 500 mg/kg). Efficacy analysis of minimally invasive surgery for Raynaud's syndrome
CONCLUSION: Our retrospective analysis on RS patients indicates that microsurgical techniques are safe and effective in the short term. As surgical practices lean towards minimally invasive methods, our data supports this shift. Gut microbiome of Crocodylus porosus and cellular stress: inhibition of nitric oxide, interleukin 1-beta, tumor necrosis factor-alpha, and prostaglandin E2 in cerebrovascular endothelial cells
In this study, we determined whether selected gut bacteria of Crocodylus porosus exhibit anti-inflammatory effects in response to stress, by measuring nitric oxide release, interleukin 1-beta, tumor necrosis factor-alpha, and prostaglandin E2 in cerebrovascular endothelial cells. In conclusion, Prangoil, and its components, β-ocimene and carvacrol, reduced spontaneous and KCl or oxytocin-induced contractions of rat myometrium, mainly modulating extracellular Ca2+ influx through L-Type channels and Ca2+ release from the intracellular store.
