Reflections on Big Data in Healthcare: Exploring Emerging Roles
In conclusion, librarians can become experts in the field of data science. There are several mechanisms that are already in place to assist us with learning these skill sets. The National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) is offering stipends of up to $500 to support travel and lodging to attend the Health Information for Public Librarians Symposium taking place at this year’s Medical Library Association Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA.
