National Library of Medicine Awards Nearly $58 Million to Advance a Data-Driven Research Workforce
Over the next five years, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) will award nearly $58 million to support biomedical informatics and data science programs at 18 institutions. NLM will distribute this funding on an annual basis, granting a total of $11.5 million each year. Recipients will develop training programs to prepare pre and postdoctoral trainees for interdisciplinary scientific research careers.
