Artificial Intelligence Hypothesis Validation Platform Sci.ai Wins Digital Science Catalyst Grant
Research industry technology company Digital Science has awarded the first Catalyst Grant of 2018 to a team from Romania aiming to accelerate the research process through their Artificial Intelligence Platform Sci.ai. Extending Publons ’ Reviewer Recognition Service to 250 Taylor & Francis Journals
Over 40,000 peer reviews for Taylor and Francis have been tracked after a successful pilot.  20th March 2018 – Today, the peer review platform Publons announced an extended partnership with Taylor & Francis following a successful pilot. Through Publons Reviewer Recognition Service, they will provide automated recognition to peer reviewers for up to 250 academic journals. To-date, more than 18,500 peer reviewers have used the Publons platform to track over 58,000 peer reviews for Taylor & Francis journals. Peter Lang converts eleven journals to Open Access publications
As part of Peter Lang’s ongoing commitment to Open Access in academic publishing, the publisher today announced plans to transition eleven of its subscription-based scholarly jour­nals to full open access. Max-Planck-Gesellschaft to grow open access publishing with IOP
Max-Planck-Gesellschaft (MPG) and IOP Publishing (IOP) have announced a new pilot agreement to help grow the society’s participation in open access publishing. The new Institutional Research Licence has been developed by IOP to enable institutions to manage the cost of hybrid article publication charges (APCs) against their journals licence fee, enabling institutions to support the participation of their researchers in open access publishing.
