NLM Retiring ToxMystery on December 31, 2018
ToxMystery, a game about chemicals in the household, will be retired on December 31, 2018. The game was built in the Adobe Flash, a format not supported on tablets, most Web browsers, and other educational devices. Although the game has provided years of fun and entertainment, NLM has decided to retire this resource. Please visit NIEHS and EPA for learning activities about chemicals and environmental health. National Take Back Day is October 27
Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. National Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.
The last Take-Back Day brought in almost 1 million pounds of unused or expired prescription medication. This is the largest amount collected since the program began in 2010.
This brings the total amount of prescription drugs collected by DEA since the fall of 2010 to 9,964,714 pounds, or 4,982 tons.

Just a reminder that the National Library of Medicine (NLM) will discontinue PubMed Health effective October 31, 2018.
