28 year old seeking post-bacc advice
Hi Everyone!
I'm a 28 year old Sales Exec for a tech startup in NYC and after much deliberation have decided to change my career and pursue medicine. My undergraduate cGPA was a 3.0 and any science courses I took were in 2008-2009. I've began the process of becoming a local EMT volunteer and seeking volunteer work at local hospitals in the NYC/NJ area. I also grew up working in a neurosurgical office alongside the doctors to help with patient paperwork and scheduling.
I am looking into...

Clinical Psychology or Psychiatry?
Hello!
Currently, I am an undergraduate student on a pre-med path. I am majoring in psychology and neuroscience. For me, intelligence is not a problem. I don't mean to come across as egotistical, but I am extremely smart. I have never failed a class (or an exam). The last time I got a B on a test was in high school during a family crisis. My favorite courses in high school were math (calculus and algebra mostly, since my precalculus teacher was awful), science (chemistry, biology, physical...

Poastbacc when UG gpa is 2.89?
Hello all !
So I received my B.A in Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley with an overall gpa of 2.89. I have always been interested in neuroscience, the brain, and sleep. I took a lot of courses in psychology, some math, and some programming. At the time I believed I wanted to become a clinical psychologist so I prepared myself more to go into grad school and pursue just that.
After some internships and working in the mental health field, I realized I wanted to pursue something more scientific...
