Aneuploidy detection in pooled polar bodies using rapid nanopore sequencing
ConclusionThe automated detection of the ploidy classification per chromosome and shorter duplications or deletions depending on the sequencing depth demonstrates an advantage of the ONT method over standard, commercial aCGH methods, which do not consider the presence of three chromatids in pooled polar bodies. Effect of time post warming to embryo transfer on human blastocyst metabolism and pregnancy outcome
ConclusionOverall, our results show that differences in the time of post warming culture have no significant impact on miscarriage or live birth rate for frozen embryo transfers. This information can be beneficial for clinical practices with either minimal staffing or a high number of patient cases. (Source: Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics)

Exploring preconception health in adolescents and young adults: Identifying risk factors and interventions to prevent adverse maternal, perinatal, and child health outcomes-A scoping review
CONCLUSION: The scoping review identified a scarcity of evidence on preconception risk factors and interventions among adolescents and young adults. This underscores the crucial need for additional research on the subject.PMID:38630699 | DOI:10.1371/journal.pone.0300177 (Source: Herpes)

Drug-Induced Liver Injury in Pregnancy: The U.S. Drug-Induced Liver Injury Network Experience
Obstet Gynecol. 2024 Apr 16. doi: 10.1097/AOG.0000000000005585. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTThere are limited data on the causative agents and characteristics of drug-induced liver injury in pregnant individuals. Data from patients with drug-induced liver injury enrolled in the ongoing multicenter Drug-Induced Liver Injury Network between 2004 and 2022 and occurring during pregnancy or 6 months postpartum were reviewed and compared with cases of drug-induced liver injury in nonpregnant women of childbearing age. Among 325 individuals of childbearing age in the Drug-Induced Liver Injury Network, 16 cases of drug-induced l...

Uterine infusion strategies for infertile patients with recurrent implantation failure: a systematic review and network meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Intrauterine infusion of HCG, PBMC, G-CSF, and PRP are promising strategies for improving pregnancy outcomes for infertile patients with recurrent implantation failure. Among these treatments, PRP may be the best. More researches are required to explore the effect of drug combinations and less commonly used drugs as well.TRIAL REGISTRATION: Our study was registered in PROSPERO and the ID was CRD42023467188.PMID:38627790 | DOI:10.1186/s12958-024-01221-x (Source: Reproductive Biology)
