SGU (Caribbean) vs Sackler (Israel)
Hello everyone!
I have been accepted to St. George's University and Tel Aviv University's Sackler SOM. I am having a hard time deciding between the two schools, and I was seeking other's input. Here are what I personally find to be the pro's and con's of each school:
SGU:
Pros:
- More name recognition
- Two full years of clinical rotations in USA
Cons:
- Very expensive compared to American MD schools (Nearly double the price of some Public American MD Schools)...

Can someone answer some of these questions regarding application/leadership?
I'm a 2nd year bio student at a canadian university (will get my citizenship next year), and I immigrated in 2019 from Dubai where I studied Architecture for 2 years after being rejected from a 7 year BS/DDS program there. Middle east countries do not have a 4 year bachelor then a 4 year dental school kinda thing, they're all 7 years combined so if you get rejected from the 7 year one, you're kinda screwed and it all matters on grades, ECs don't matter. Applying for medical school in Europe (mainly considering Switzerland), Canada or US.
I am a student from a middle east country with an engineering background. After several years of spending my engineering life, I am now thinking of switching my major and start studying medicine to become a medical doctor rather than an engineer.
