Well… Because we have hit the infamous turkey day rule, I thought I might ask your opinions on how to prep to reapply. Let me preface this by saying I’ve had moderate success this cycle, but no acceptances. I have 3 II’s, but unfortunately these schools have a low post-interview acceptance rate (50%, 30%, and 20%) and withhold decisions until February, March, and February respectively. Applying to Sackler or Ben Gurion really late-thoughts?
Hi there,
So here is my story. I decided recently I want to go to Ben Gurion or Sackler in Israel. I haven't taken MCAT yet (plan to in january). Would it be an awful idea to apply to these this year in the hope I can attend in August and start medical school earlir? My college's committee wouldn't have time to write a recommendation either, but I could probably have professors/ my boss write them.
If I got rejected, would I be considered a "re-applicant" when applying to med schools...
