Is 8k a day a good DAILY in average in PRODUCTION?
Okay, I am going to try to make this post short, thank you for answering... To make a story short, I have a friend. He is an international dentist and got his license last year. So he is not very familiar with payments and stuff. So he started working as an associate, The contract says VERBATIM, "3000 for the first 3 months, biweekly... then 25% of the collection". I told him to get a lawyer, but he said it was too expensive. OKAY... So he made the 3k, and then COVID happened just when he... Is 8k a day a good DAILY in average in PRODUCTION? Pi practices
Hello all, Is there anyone here that sees at least 50% personal injury patients? And if so what kind of electronica medical record do you use? Also I would appreciate any advice and or guards to personal injury patients. For example what to be careful for. I understand that sometimes we don’t get paid until much later if at all but other than that I want to see what are other potential pitfalls. So far besides the two that I mentioned just now also the fact that lawyers might be pushing... PI PRACTICES (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Do traffic misdemeanors affect my chances into medical school?
SO I live in Georgia, and last month I received a ticket for using the HOV or HOT lane on I-85 highway (oops). I looked up the violation, and turns out there is a one time $75 fee for 1st time offenders. The description states that HOV lane violations are considered a misdemeanor in the state of Georgia. This statement freaked me out! Will this affect my chances of admission? Do I have to report this traffic misdemeanor on my applications? Can I get it removed if I speak to a lawyer before... SMP Advice ~Texas~
Hey everyone, I've searched the forum but couldn't find anyone in the particular situation I'm in. I applied this previous cycle ( Texas Resident) to some super new DO schools to see how I'd fair but wasn't expecting much and did not receive any II as expected. My GPAs are listed below and show a huge upward trend with the exception of a supposed cheating incident (no IA just an F which I fought for 1.5 yrs with a lawyer and couldn't get the F resolved) retook the class with the same... I want out
This will be a weepy post. You have been warned. In the last two days, I've dealt with the following junk: 1. been involved in kafkaesque discussions with my lawyer in a case where I'm being sued for doing my job (being involved in the care of a patient who was involuntarily hospitalized and treated) 2. got yelled at for prescribing controlled substances by our resident controlled substance Nazi attending - got scared about being sued again 3. got yelled at for NOT prescribing controlled... Confused non-trad with low-GPA and high MCAT
Hi, Summary: I received my MCAT scores today and got a 523 (128/132/130/132). I understand that this is a good score, but my GPA is the picture of mediocrity, so I'm not sure what to do. cGPA: 3.28; sGPA: 3.31; post-bacc GPA: 3.4 Back story: I was a lawyer at a high-end boutique law firm in Manhattan and decided to leave the law and pursue a post-bacc program to become a physician. Adcoms, please chime in here
Being a very nontrad who have been a lawyer arguing at high courts and WS executive handling billions of dollars, I always wear a three piece suit with a bow tie. I also sent in my prof. pic in that way too. Should I just dress like that to my interviews? Or wear a tie instead? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

How Would You Schedule Your Supervision Agreement?
How would you negotiate the following: - compensation: the more the mid-level is seeing, the more liability I would have and the more compensation I would need - malpractice: how does this work for a supervising physician? - ability to walk away from supervision: if the mid-level is not teachable, how to walk away? - compensation for legal issues: what is fair hourly rate if I take time away from work due to legal issues because of mid-level? - lawyer fee to review contract (payable even if... J & J ordered to pay $572 million
Johnson & Johnson Ordered to Pay $572 Million in Landmark Opioid Trial Oklahoma pursued the first case against a drug manufacturer for the national public health disaster, and the ruling may point to what lies ahead in 2,000 more lawsuits. www.google.com Interested to hear your guys’ thoughts on this. I feel as though it’s an unfair verdict with the state and lawyers looking for some easy money. I mean they were selling FDA regulated and monitored drugs. It’s not like they were doing anything illegal. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Medical Device
Question for the inventors of SDN: I have an idea for a medical device. It’s relatively simple, and I think it would have significant commercial value... That being said, I have virtually no experience with fabrication, biomedical engineering, patent law, etc. Anyone have any relevant experience or advice? To those who have applied for patents, any tips on the process? Worth it to get a patent lawyer, or is it something I can navigate myself and save a few grand? I do work for an academic...
