Accepted into Pharmacy School but charged with a felony. Where do I go from here?
I did something really stupid. I had my first court date today and got formally charged with a felony. It's not for something violent, sexual, theft, or drug related but still a felony. My lawyer says it will most likely be reduced to a misdemeanor in the end. The school I was accepted to will send out request for a background check in a couple weeks. Am I completely screwed for life? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Need some advice on dating and workload during residency as well as fellowship
Heya, Around 1.5 months ago I started dating someone who is finishing her residency. We met at the wedding party and hit it off . Dating so far has been both fun and challenging. Additionally, I work in the legal field at one of the leading banks. So my schedule tends to be erratic and her schedule is equally erratic. So finding time is always difficult. Though we've managed to meet once per week now. Today when we met she brought up the whole topic of becoming couple. It was good. She is... MCAT Prep Overview -- Lawyer Perspective
Hey y'all. I'm a current law student who studied and tutored for the Law School Admissions Test for several years. I have a dear friend who will soon begin her MCAT prep journey and I'm hoping someone might be able to help me draw parallels between the tests so I can better advise her and point her in the right direction. Ideal LSAT prep breaks down to three essentially equal blocks of time (let's say 1 year start-to-finish in connection with a part-time+ job). First, about one-third of the... Potential legal discrepancy?
Good news: I've just been accepted! Background : I was cited a couple years ago for underage drinking, which was all dropped in a day or so and nothing ever came of it. My lawyer assured me it was taken care of, that it was not an arrest, and I could put no on all the forms when asked about criminal background. Excellent. Now, beginning to look at signing up for the required background check, and searched my name, just because, in the county where the offense occurred. "Abandoned" notice... Contract question
CA3 here, just got my first offer letter . I have a few questions for you guys. Is it standard practice to have an offer letter only valid for two days? What is a reasonable non-compete radius for anesthesia? What is a reasonable price to pay to have a contract reviewed by a lawyer? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
