Which medical schools provide the most meaningful clinical exposure prior to clerkships?
Of course students can connect with faculty members on their own to arrange shadowing and things like that, but my question is about programs that are part of the school's curriculum, like Northwestern's "Education-Centered Medical Home" and UCSF's "Clinical Microsystems Clerkship." And by meaningful, I mean both quantity and quality. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Let me preface this by saying these were two of my top schools that both gave me deferrals in may (was accepted last cycle) and this is a huge first world problem that I'm extremely grateful to have.
