A Systematic Review of Pharyngeal High-Resolution Manometry Normative Data
CONCLUSIONS: Due to the wide variety of protocols, catheter configurations, manufacturers, and software used in the existing literature, it is difficult to formulate consensus on HPRM normative values using pooled data. Changes In Meaningful Non-Drug Therapy Use Among U.S. Military Veterans Within A Comparative Effectiveness Trial Augmenting Primary Care Management Of Chronic Pain
Non-drug therapies (NDTs) are first-line chronic pain treatments. The Veterans' Pain Care Organizational Improvement Comparative Effectiveness (VOICE) trial enrolled veterans with chronic pain prescribed long-term opioid therapy. This secondary analysis assessed changes in participants' meaningful use of NDTs for pain. Since the passage of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act in February of 2009, there has been mounting pressure for adoption and meaningful use (MU) of electronic health records (EHRs) in both inpatient and outpatient health systems (1).
