HPR74 Analysis of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Urgent-Use Medicine Scheme —An Opportunity for Early Access in Mainland China
China ’s Greater Bay Area (GBA) comprises nine mainland cities in the Guangdong province and 2 Special Administrative Regions (Hong Kong and Macau). Under a policy introduced in 2021, medicines licensed in Hong Kong/Macau without National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approval can be imported t o selected hospitals in the GBA if they meet urgent medical needs, with the process governed by the Guangdong Medicinal Administration (GMA). AbstractTargeted therapy with Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors have revolutionized the treatment of patients with various B-cell malignancies. BTK inhibitors such as ibrutinib, zanubrutinib, orelabrutinib, and acalabrutinib have shown good clinical efficacy and better safety profiles than those of traditional chemotherapy and chemoimmunotherapy regimens.
