Does hydrochlorothiazide increase the incidence of skin, lip and oral cancer in a UK population?
Conclusions The risk of NMSC and lip cancer in a UK population is increased with cumulative high-dose HCTZ exposure. It is therefore important for dentists to note as it may increase suspicion of lesions in patients taking these medications.PMID:35338330 | DOI:10.1038/s41432-022-0255-x (Source: Cancer Control)

Temporal trends of women with oral cavity, base of tongue and lip cancers in Brazil: An ecological study covering mortality data from 1980 to 2018
CONCLUSIONS: During the last 38 years, Brazil has shown a significant increase in the trend of the mortality rate due to oral cavity/base of tongue and lip cancers in women.
