As someone who has been out for awhile, I caution against doing an ICU fellowship unless you truly hate the OR. The anesthesia job market is on rocket fire while the ICU market is in the dumps. I don’t see the Intensivist market getting better- too many ER-ICU trained physicians in the pipeline.

NYITCOM-Long Island vs Midwestern-CCOM?
I am currently deciding between NYITCOM-Long Island and Midwestern-CCOM.
I know that CCOM is more expensive than NYITCOM, but due to higher cost-of-living in Long Island as compared to Chicago area both cost-of-attendances equalize.
NYITCOM has primarily online learning, while CCOM has in-person classes.
What are some other points of comparison can we make?
In terms of research, is CCOM or NYITCOM better?

Drexel vs NYMC
Fortunate to have been accepted to both schools but very much on the fence. My pros/cons list is limited to my knowledge of the schools so if you have any info to add please do!
Drexel - Pros
- New building looks nice
- Like Philly, down to get out and go to a new city
- Independent learning heavy and only required to go into campus 2-3x per week during preclinical years
- really liked my student interview, the vibes seemed good

Hi colleagues,
What websites or programs do you guys use for CMEs? Specifically things that will satisfy ABPN requirements?
Is there a web site for CME that is all inclusive...that will give me everything I need for all the CME reqs for ABPN?
Also looking for good courses/q banks (will be great if they also give CME credits) that will help me keep up with knowledge and learn new info.
